Amy Watson

Amy Watson, PhD is passionate about the ways that public policy and consumer decision making interact. Her research in this area includes the impact of FDA-regulated sunscreen information on tanning behavior among Millennials and the effect of country-of-origin food labeling on consumer perceptions of quality and safety. In the classroom, she enjoys teaching digital marketing and consumer behavior with hands-on class projects that allow students to apply what they are learning while helping local businesses and non-profits. In her free time she loves cooking gourmet meals, taking care of her four dogs, and traveling abroad with her husband Benjamin.
